The EOP Virtual Freshman Summer Academy is an opportunity for our incoming EOP students to start their college career early. Upon successful completion of the courses, students will earn up to five credits while engaging with Buffalo State faculty and EOP academic mentors. These credits will help students get an academic head start and place students on track to meet the credits needed for financial aid and timely graduation. Students will be placed in a three-credit course which fulfills a general education and, two one-credit courses designed to inspire and promote creative problem-solving skills, and receive the support needed for personal growth and academic success.
The EOP Summer Academy is FREE for all EOP Freshman. In addition, students will receive a $300 stipend to help offset costs with living expenses during this time.

Students accepted into EOP will receive a personalized link to register via their Buffalo State e-mail account.
It is required that all EOP students participate in the Summer Academy. Students must be available Mon-Fri from 9 am – 5 pm.
