Hello, I'm Lauren Frazier. I am a senior, majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in marketing. I own a business and I aspire to expand my business upon graduating. Achieving my business goals is very important to me. I Understand, that obtain knowledge while in school will connect me to my goals. I’m dedicated to my studies and strive to put forth my best efforts with each assignment. My education a priority in my life because I understand it is the key to my future. In the spirit of education and success, I joined Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. This has furthered my drive-in education and community service. I know the importance of giving back to my community. I have participated in clean-ups around the city, tree plantings and assisting on remodeling homes for people in need. I have created and executed goals, which in turn, have made my aspirations come to life. Along the way I have embraced each obstacle that has come my way. Maintaining a positive and optimistic attitude has been important to education journey. My ability to be creative and adjust in different situations has led me to be a free thinker. My journey in the EOP program has been nothing short of rewarding. Beginning at Erie Community College, I was offered an opportunity to assist and mentor in the summer session with incoming students. This led to the chance for me to work in the EOP office, assisting with paperwork, answering phones and working closely with the advisors and director. Transferring to Buffalo State University, I have received an overwhelming amount of support through this program. I hope to continue my education and grow with the EOP family.
