Student Summer Assistant (SA)
Job Description 2023
As an EOP Student Summer Assistant, you are an extension of the Educational Opportunity Program, and serve as a role model for EOP incoming first-year students. The position requires you to provide leadership, guidance, and information about both the EOP program and Buffalo State College to incoming freshmen.
The SA position will begin July 7th through August 5th (Includes training and Summer Academy Schedule).
Summer Assistant Eligibility Requirements:
- You must be a full-time registered student
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 (3.00 preferred)
- At least 51 credit hours already accumulated by the end of sophomore year, and plan to register for classes at Buffalo State College in Fall 2023 (Graduation Applicants are an exception)
- Rising Junior or Senior status ONLY (Graduate Students are an exception)
- You must have access to a working computer/laptop device or tablet
- Cumulative GPA, completed credits, and registration for courses will be verified by the close of the spring semester
- All student summer leadership employees MUST BE AVAILABLE for both the Summer Academy training and Academy (July 7th to August 5th)
